Located in
Fairfield County, Connecticut, Project Return
is a restored farmhouse nestled in a charming residential neighborhood, approximately
one mile from Westport's town center. Licensed
by the State of Connecticut, Project Return serves as a long-term intervention to prevent hospitalizations, and also as transitional living following inpatient services.

Part of each girl's journey at Project Return is to reconnect with that part of herself that is dedicated to her emotional, physical and mental health. Girls who are victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse as well as those who suffer from eating disorders, depression, homelessness and other traumas make Project Return their temporary home. Seven girls at a time live in this family-like atmosphere. In the process of mending broken spirits, our teens regain a sense of their own power to change their lives for the better.

We are deeply saddened by the devastating loss of our beloved staff member, Katie Fontneau. Lovely, gentle, eager, happy, compassionate, open, fun loving, smart and sassy, Katie will never be far from our hearts and our minds. To honor her memory, we have established the Katie Fontneau Memorial Fund.
