Project Return is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, unlike a shelter, we are a long-term treatment group home. Typically two to eight weeks or more, depending on openings required to plan placement and intake. If you live in Connecticut and need immediate help for a crisis, please call the Department of Children and Families (DCF) at 1-800-842-2288 or Connecticut's Infoline (211) for suggestions on shelters in your area that are able to assist you. If you or a person you know is in a life-threatening situation, call (911) for the police and immediate emergency help.
